the former will degenerate into the latter, if you are not careful.

dainty antiquing is more for show dogs than boots you subject to the elements.

They look better irl. There is actually a blue cast in the slightly darker grey leather, which is emphasized by the blue aniline lining. I do have pictures, but can't get the stupid camera to talk to the computer. Will try again. Great fit. Glad I went with the slimmer 5 last. They look like a hybrid between a combat boot and a sneaker, which is essentially my style.

They are the Grasmere, though the box specified them as a "Superboot". They definitely fit on the roomier side. I am usually a large 10.5 or 11, with wider than usual feet, and I got the 9 1/2 UK, fitting 5, on Richard's recommendation. A size 10UK would have been too large, and the fitting 6, too wide. Will try to get my own pics up tonight - which will hopefully show the colors better. The color is more like the slate blue here: http://www.cultizm.com/product_info....late-Blue.html

^very nice Aeglus. Are those the Bourton model?

Also, does anyone know where the best place to buy a pair of Trickers would be at the moment? I'm looking for a pair of suede brogues.

Yep, good eye. They were part of the Pediwear special order, which still has UK9 available (I bought mine last year after asking here and getting a big no from everyone... and then everyone realized that they're amazingly good looking and versatile).
