Hey - It was a collaboration between Junya Watanabe and Tricker's -- I believe END and Mr. Porter might have had it at the time … maybe sometime early-mid 2013. At the time they were going for - oh i can't recall - $700? $800? It was far too much for me back then, but a lot of things have changed since then! Now, I wouldn't think twice…would love to do an MTO on that one...

I saw that one, and as can be imagined, if it was anywhere between and 8UK and a 9UK I would have just bought it. The Boot Gods were not smiling on me...

zippyh, you are a living compendium of shoe knowledge. the link reminds me that I didn't get a tin of paste wax with my green stows. was I supposed to get one from End?

So the End Clothing folks tell me that it is not necessarily standard for Trickers to include paste wax with one's purchase of stows. (Guess I got lucky on my Black stows purchased from LeatherSoul).

Can anyone recommend a properly colored, good quality paste wax or cream for the aniline calf green stows?

Thanks for any advice you can offer! My wife is such a fan of the green stows I've ended up wearing them most days this week, so I know between frequent wearings and driving a manual transmission, these boots are going to get scuffed up well.

VSC and a horse hair brush will get rid of most of the scuffs without changing the color or over waxing. Call Richard the site healer as well, he had probably dealt with that color issue a hundred times

I've used it once. Mostly I just use some conditioner and neutral Saphir paste for my non standard color shoes.
Tricker's brand polish is rebranded Saphir but they only have a few colors like black, neutral, dark brown and light brown.

I will strongly second Zippyh on Kirby and the Hanger Project for a source of Saphir. I would use their neutral wax paste on a colored aniline like yours so as not to alter the color.

I tried to use Saphir Reno for my tricker's espresso, but the rich dark brown color was removed and it becomes more patchy. Is there anyway I can restore the color? or it is the nature of tricker's leather...kind of like patina that you develops over time.

Did you extensively brush the shoes after applying Reno? If you only apply the cream, yes... it certainly won't look any good. If you brush with your horsehair brush for 5-10 minutes the shoes should look great. That's all I use on my 3 pairs along with hermes red pommadier on the lollipop red.

Thank you everyone for your help! I tried looking long and far for a perfect match, but frankly I was worried that the products that I linked to in my original post might be of inferior quality.

I order my Saphir products from the Hanger Project, so I'm not sure why I overlooked them for the green stuff. It certainly looks like the way to go is vsc and brushing first, then neutral, and then to invest in the green jar if and only if I've done something majorly stupid like moving the sharp metal wheel of an office chair over the side of my boot (don't laugh, this happens all the time, usually when I'm wearing my favorite shell cordovan boots of course).

They sure look like 4444 to me.

If you do a search for that style number M7345 you get some hits for Japanese sites.
If those ebay ones were for the Japanese market, Tricker's sometimes adjusts the sizing or some such idiotic thing.
