Very disappointed in the pair of Trickers/Herring Froswicks I just received (and I just waxed them up before noticing the messed up defects, so don't know if I can send them back). Horribly misaligned eyelet spacing on the right boot, badly punched eyelets, and messy leather finishing. Am I being too judgmental when I say these shouldn't even have left the factory in the first place?

(This isn't the one I'm selling BTW, this is a 9.5UK one with Dainite sole I got as a replacement)

    Hi,
Can someone help me with sizing. I am looking to purchase a pair of Trickers 7770 Cap Toe Derby Boot in the w2298 last. I am a 8.5E in the Brannock device however, by left foot is a bit larger than my right. I wear a 8E in Alden Barrie last. Someone recommended that an 8 UK would be the best fit as the w2298 is a narrow last but after skimming through this thread I am starting to have second thoughts. I cannot try the shoes in person either.

    I'm a 9D/E Brannock, 8.5 Barrie and an 8.5-fitting 5 UK in the 2298 last fits perfectly. The 2298 last isn't particularly narrow - it's just a bit sleeker in the toe-box than the 4497 & 4444 lasts.

So, I think you'd be good with an 8 UK.

I foresee a series of MTO MLB Tricker's offerings in the near future….actually, I don't really see that….but that orange shell is very very nice!

Anybody familiar with the 13187 last?

Herring and Paul Smith have some makeups on this last, but I can't find much info on it beyond that. Comparisons to the 4497s would be great :)

I've got a pair of the Herring Boorman which is on the 13187.
Fits pretty much the same as the 4497.

What are the Paul Smith/Tricker's you speak of?

toe looks narrower than the 4497s last which would be a dealbreaker for me, but maybe it's just photography

Hi just thought I'd add to the Trickers love with a pic of Allan boots in Lollipop Cavalier. Had them for about 18 months. [IMG]
