Search around. I know there have been folks who did it themselves. Specifically the C&J Cordovan for Ralph Lauren thread in Classic Menswear. There have been a few people who DIY/had it done on their Marlows. Also I know I've seen it done in the Alden thread.
Remember you're going to have to have a cobbler do it if you want the welt changed out. I think B. Nelson in NYC charges about what you'd pay for a resole to do it though.
Just doing the edge trim looks pretty simple if you're going to DIY.
I haven't been able to access the official website for a couple of weeks, is there something new and exciting coming does anybody know?
Thank you for the information. Appreciate it.

I'm kicking myself for not buying these suede Bourtons when Shoehealer had them:
Has anyone seen them anywhere else?
Hard to tell from the post stamp sized image, but are those the grey suede ones?
Paul & Friends has grey calf (not suede) ones.
STP has grey suede wingtips but alas not Bourtons.
if anyone interested i have a pair fs uk10 .......thanks
These are on Kafka - waxy calf not suede, and doesn't say which model but might be of interest:
183 pounds shipped to the US, in for a pair at that price. Blue ones were tempting too but held off as I just bought blue carminas
I couldn't resist at that price either.
Same goes for me... But of course no size 6.5
Recived my second pair of Trickers a few weeks ago and I`am interested in some tips on how to take care of my new "waxy brown calf leather". I never had a pair of shoes/boots with leather this way so basically I`am interested in how to "polish". I usually use different kinds of products from Saphir. Does a pair of "waxy" just need some Renovatuer now and then?
When it comes to my first pair I am very happy with them but someone at this forum asked how they might hold in snowy/wet conditions, I think they keept apperance rather god, but I would not throw away those Welingtons yet
there's a an extra 10% code for kafka. (kafka10)
suede stows on the way!
damn wish I knew that code, wonder if they will apply it after my order
