I'm breaking in my natural chromexcel Stows. The double leather on the third wear is more comfortable than I was expecting.

The cxl is softer from new than my older scotch grain stows and hugs my foot more tightly. The effective size on the new ones are slightly larger in Chromexcel

I had resoled my Peanut Reverse Kudu Ethan’s as they were too heavy on double leather soles. With this I let also change the storm welt against a flat.
I chose a Dr Sole Raw Cord Sole. These are not light too, but without a midsole it’s much more flexible, in total lighter and looks much better. O‘Sullivans raw cord soles are even better than Dr Soles.
I wished that Trickers would use a flat welt.

They look good in this configuration.
