Probably about ten. Not sure if they’ll make again..🥹
Trickers have got some beef with Shell since 2021. They dont wana go near any new shell. And they dont want to source "Horween". The recent collection of Brett boots they released (in very limited sizes) was because of old shell stock (Lis Royal) they happened to have found sitting in the leather room. . . Tricker's seriously need to give us a Bourton and Stow in Horween Shell primary colours (whiskey, dark brown, burgundy)

I think mine maybe Horween. Was a collab with Junya Watanabe.

They have done Horween sporadically. Was a Mr Porter collab a few years ago in whisky shell (chukka). I’ve a couple of Bobby in whiskey and Armagnac Horween. It’s pot luck what comes round.

Do they have beef with the Horween company? Or just with the shell material?

Just recently they did a Horween chamois make up for Herring. Thought these look great and been eyeing them for a while (was hoping for a 30-40% black friday sale).

Those Mr Porter chukkas were bourbon.

I just got the whisky pampus from AFPOS, after hesitating between them and the chestnut during all the black friday sale. Ended up choosing the pampus 3 hours before the sale closed!
I am very happy with them but chestnut are gorgeous too!
And AFPOS are now delevering all duties paid, which is a relief.

Nice. Both the Whiskey Pampus and Chestnut calf look great. Congratulations to you guys @alexst @LiverFieldie . Enjoy wearing them. And share photos after wearing over time.

Am particularly interested to see how the whiskey pampus (from the german Heinen tannery) will perform and look over time. Heinen don't describe the leather or its properties on their website (which is a very very basic website). All we know is that its a nubuck leather from Bovine.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
