It will essentially be waxed suedeDoes anyone also have experience with Horween's Chamois leather? I might be eyeing a pair of Burton's if the Chamois offers something different that I don't own yet.
Hello, very nice, which colour are them?
Cheers
The first pair of Stows I ever bought. It’s surprising how nuanced the colour becomes as they age, with the toe cap burnishing becoming more pronounced.Thank you! They are standard calf Espresso: https://trickers.com/collections/stow-country-boots/products/stow-country-boot-espresso-burnished
I like this non-pretentious, straight dark color and its oily hue. 🕶️

The espresso works so well on those burfords. I think your photography skills accentuate the beauty, but still…Yeah! 👊🏻 Unless I would want to cover a deep scratch, I don't use coloured cream, just neutral care product. They are lovely.
My first Tricker's were also Espresso, but the Burford. I really love their off the shelf models.

By nuanced, do you mean the colour becomes more prominent/clearer with age, or it dulls/fades with age ?The first pair of Stows I ever bought. It’s surprising how nuanced the colour becomes as they age, with the toe cap burnishing becoming more pronounced.
Tricker's description of this leather colour is also very interesting. I dont have anything in this leather colour yet. So maybe a Bourton in espresso at some point.I was referring to the subtle difference between the colour on the toecap and the rest of the boot becoming more apparent, due to the factory burnishing.
