I have to say, I have a pair of C Shade Maltons and I LOVE the color and it works with everything... I haven't worn it with a suit, and frankly would never have considered doing so, but I like these boots so much that concept is creeping into my subconciousness.Gentlemen,
I’m looking to pick up my first pair of Trickers- the Bourtons. However, I’m not sure which color to choose. The acorn color is definitely eye-catching but I’m wondering how versatile it is compared to marron. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.
I used to think the acorn colour is unique. But i personally don't feel so now. That colour is done by Loake and Barker too on some of their shoes. Thanks for the replies. I intend to wear them with jeans and chinos; not a suit. However, I could see myself wearing them with sportcoat and odd trousers. I do like the uniqueness of the acorn color, but feel that it might be too loud. I did consider darkening the acorn color a few shades to tone down the brightness.
