Didn’t you get som Grizdales and Polo PTBs recently?
Bought the PTBs around 6 months ago, just took a long time to wear them. Returned the Grizedales so that doesn’t count. It was actually the Grizedale purchase that made me reflect on my behaviour and change my ways.

A humble request for real-life pictures and content of what Tricker's Burgundy Calfskin looks like. I am considering the Jermyn Street Loafer in this colour but want to see it under regular lighting and conditions. I'm hoping its a redder color because I was wowed by Loake's offering in that shade.

After seeing this new reward scheme on the Tricker's website, the staff at the Jermyn Street store have had to shut the store down for a few hours, so they can take notes and understand the scheme :p.

This could possibly be the worst example of a customer members club I have ever seen. To begin with, the fact that you need to contact their customer services to redeem any of the benefits ( that they may choose to remove at any time) instantly damns this scheme to failure.

Aside from that the rewards themselves are meagre to say the least. It will probably attract very few, if any, new devotees to the brand.

It really is a shame that the marketing is so lacklustre. Tricker's must already have plenty of customer data that would help them identify loyal customers that would be worth rewarding and they are missing an opportunity to engage with the wider, and more dedicated, customer base.

The best brand loyalty schemes don't advertise at all, instead they automatically identify loyal customers and reward them with small offers and gifts to encourage them. This never ending treadmill of a pyramid scheme Tricker's is touting just makes them look big headed and out of touch.

The rewards are a bit low if you offset it against paying retail prices (€685 for a pair of boots). Most if not all retailers offer at least a 10% welcoming discount.

Having said that; you shouldn't look a gifted horse in the mouth, but indeed I would say this program will not generate any sales and thus just a waste of money/time. It'd be more interesting if you could get like a 15% discount over the 10% welcome coupons, or special access to the outlet/samples.
