With a white balance on the paper, it looks like this. A bit cooler in colour temperature on the second picture for a different impression.

Probably faded Marron but I think so lesser than before, maybe Beechnut, I am not sure. Certainly not C-Shade as already mentioned, mostly because of the shine.

Let's see, what others think. 🍀

Should have spotted the eyelet colour too as this narrows it down to marron or beechnut.

They probably are beechnut or marron but over the years Tricker’s have produced a surprising number of shades of brown. One which springs to mind is a shade called ‘moccasin’. See post #17,920 which provides an example of this colour.

Agreed, the variety of shades of browns from Trickers (alongside the variety of names they give the colours) can be seen in the random pairs that come up on the outlet website

I'm beginning to realize that! I like the Bourton so much I think I'll just start buying them in every shade and leather that becomes available. My wife won't mind!

Can anyone comment on the Gold color in comparison to other shades of tan/brown-ish leathers used by Tricker's?

Some realistic pictures at AFPOS to give you an idea of the MC Gold colour.

Regarding its leather quality, i cannot say. Because I dont know if its the same leather as used on the standard acorn and marron colour bourtons

Pretty sure the MC is coated to make it more water resistant. This always put me off.

I own a couple of pairs in MC and if it’s coated it’s not obvious as it has a fairly matt finish. I’m really not into coated finishes like bookbinder.
Tricker's just refer to it as having a clear protective top-coat but I guess it's more to make it waterproof rather than shiny.
