It's narrower than 4497 and 4444. I have wide feet and would avoid it personally. The only way I could make it feel comfortable was sizing up by half a size and then they felt long.Does the 2298 last work for someone with a slightly wider forefoot?

They’re the Trickers equivalent of Church’s Lancaster. Heavy weight oxfords are unusual but I like them.To be fair these are a bit unusual in that they have an oxford lacing style, but yes when you look at the Kendal, Woodstock, Daniel etc etc there are a lot of minor variations on what is essentially the same shoe.
