So I talked to a friend who mentioned there were engineer boots made by Tricker's, and digging de3ep on the Japanese Yahoo, I found these ghillies Stows (?)

Are there models that's shop specific? I know some shops got that due to them developing the pattern.

The last looks awful, but the model is nice.

Any GMTO interest? I like the marron colour, but open for other stuff.

Thank you. I think I will survive! All up it will probably come in around £320-£350 which is not a million miles away from Tricker's sales prices, unless you strike lucky with a sample. But yes that £190 headline price is a long way from reality.

Just had the import bill - £67.14. So the all up price for the Div Rd Low Leg Loggers to the UK (via DHL) is about £317. Just need to see them now! Hopefully arrive on Friday.

These are light weight?
These are the standard Stow that come with a midsole. I have a bourton and stow boot in the light weight sole, and they’re uncomfortable at the ball after an hour of constant walking. Especially the bourtons.

I’m going to get rid of the bourton and resole the stow boots, regardless of being almost new.

Yeah thought as much. I have the same one, but in Sign. And Cafe, and Olivia Deerskin but on a Vibram sole. That last one is the way light weight should be. Like walking on clouds. Amazing stuff. Not sure that the stiffness of Dainite translates well to comfort when a portion of the sole is removed.

Tricker's bronze unicorn on 2298 from the sample sale. They're pretty obviously the ones made for Division Road. There was a tear on one of the tongues that I was able to repair myself. Ugly, but hidden.

I’m sure on a wedge sole they’re really comfortable, but for dainite it’s different. I actually don’t think dainite is stiff, but when walking on uneven terrain or pavement it’s when it becomes really uncomfortable for me. I was walking on cobble stone a few months back and that’s when i first acknowledged something off about my bourton lol. I was too awe struck by the burgundy museum to realize none of my trickers have a midsole lol.

Hey folks. New here. Was about to pull the trigger on some Iron Heart Int'l X Wesco in Burgundy and realised iv got way too many boots in Burgundy and haven't worn black shoes since school. Tell a lie. I did buy some double strap monks in black a long time ago.
Anyhow while searching for the said about boots I came across a video for the stow country boots in Acorn and I fell in love with the colour. Ordered my pair today.

Question for you folks on polishing or putting on any protection/cream..

Do you do this for new boots out of the box?

What cream or wax if any do you use for the acorns.

Any experience with Fawn shoe polish from their website?

Thanks. Really excited to get my first pair over the coming few days.
