Those are the Eaton MTO group buy from Shoe Healer.
They look lightened.
Do you know guys how Monkey boots last (5402R) run compared to country lasts?
First google result : Robin been told it is comparable to 4497? Anyone can confirm this?
The monkey boot last fits TTS. So you will need a half size larger than the 4497 last.
Is there anyone who goes TTS on the 4444 Last? It seems some size down .5 size and some do TTS.
yes if you are in UK and its actually your size, but here in the states we have to size down 1
That's what I do. But even in the states, there are some people who go TTS.
Only someone with a huge foot would have a TTS 4444 last (or think that is their size since they only own shoes in that size). People who step on a Brannock or similar device in the UK size down for the 4444 last.
Thanks to Namor and zippy for helping, but I ended up not copping anything. I do want to do a group order on a snuff suede boot in the New year, though, so hopefully that will get enough interest later.
Two tone Eatons from Retricker.
I saw a nice pair of Eaton today, unfortunately half a size too big for me.
A lot of funny stuff at their ebay store this week.
I would like to purchase a pair of Alden Indy. Im UK 7,5 in Tricker's country lasts, what size should I pick, US8?
It's not particularly cold where I live, so I don't wear my boots with hunt socks. Therefore, Im looking for a tight fitting.
No need to tell me to ask this in the Alden thread, thanks.
I wear 10.5US in Alden Indy and 9.5UK in 4497/4444 Tricker's.
However with the 10.5US Indy I can wear a thick sock quite comfortably but not with the 9.5UK Tricker's.
Some full size up and some half size up. The Indy boots are tighter around the heel and instep than the 4444 last and all around narrower. I would imagine the instep is about the same as the 4497 last. Basically, if you find Trickers lasts roomy, full size up, if they fit perfect, half size up.
Also, man, I never get lucky with retricker. I never seen anything in my size that I want and stuff that is in my size is generally meh.
Thank you guys. I think I'd go for US8 then. Though, I'll think it through this weekend as google picture for Indy boots makes me think you need to break them really bad so they look nice
As for retickers, I think you need to be patient
