I've never ever seen Horween on Trickers. Only Comipel [sic]
Now you have.
David at Trickers will tell you which colors are Horween and which are others (ie Comipel)
the Mogano is Horween
the blue I saw once is Comipel
An awesome 2- tone pair just posted by retricker: http://www.ebay.com/itm/310361077265?redirect=mobile
would kop but I've been too loose with my monies
Is that Mogano?
The Mogano Bourton I have is Comipel. It has the tag and everything, and definitely looks different than Horween.
retricker also had this Cordovan tramping shoe earlier today in UK6, gone now but nice
Saw those as well. Great price
Tricker's cordovan seconds pricing is crazy, appears to be same if shoe is made from calf. I think that one lasted 15 minutes on the list, lucky boy whoever got them.
So does anyone have any actual experience to share about the Comipel cordovan?
I've heard mixed reviews about it but I think most of it stems from one guy from somewhere in Europe ranting about how crappy it is a year or two ago.
I'm assuming the orange cordovan being offered on a few models right now isn't Horween.
No it is Mahogany. This is Mogano:
On the subject of whether to go up a 1/2 size from the 4444 to the 4497s last, I got a pair of stow in my regular 4444 size (7 1/2), and they seem to fit exactly alike in length and width, but with extra tightness over the laces. They actually make the Bourton look a little untidy.
Yet overall the boots are still quite roomy. If I'd got an 8, the laces would have closed more loosely, but I'd be swimming in the boots.
So if, like with me, a shoe on the 4444 last doesn't lace very tightly, the 4497s seems fine.
The only thing I'm not sure about is the elevation of the commando sole, which is higher at the toe than double leather.
Must stay strong. I want to buy these and swap out the edge trip to natural. Would be the tits
Love them !!
Is it me or pediwear is showing some new collaborations?
