30% off right now. Price hasn't changed since I bought it when it came out. Fits close so I sized up.

I must resist for now! One to buy next year for sure though. Barbour are sending me some replacement tartan for that lining tear and some spare buttons if the rep can find some in the warehouse. I love this company so much.

New channel.

Good video! That jacket already looks miles better.

I'm slightly worried now though, as I ordered a Beacon Sports Jacket in the sales over the weekend. I got my usual size medium, and I wonder if I should've sized up! How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking?

Hmm ... you're not that much taller than me, although I'm only just a little over a 38" chest. Maybe the medium will be OK, we'll see. Thanks!

If you get the chance, it'd be interesting to know the measurements of that jacket, so I can compare it to the medium Beacon when it arrives. (I'll also post the medium measurements here if anyone else is interested...)

The lining has been patched up! Unfortunately Evie at Barbour didn’t have the correct lining for the job but beggars can’t be choosers.

Was replacing the entire lining an option? No worries they didn't have the exact fabric from the original, patch looks good.

You can make up a story to go with it. "There were six Taliban on the Tube. I took out five and the last one tore my jacket in the scuffle. That's when I got really angry..." :smarmy:

Y'know, I was thinking that. I really despise this thin lining and I'd rather have it with the thicker cotton you get on the Classic range of jackets.

I need to find out how much fabric is needed to line it and then give Barbour a call to see if I can purchase that amount.

How long does a Barbour re wax last? I wear mine almost every day and I feel like the factory finish wears off after about a week or two and it looks like it did before the re wax. Does anyone re wax theirs more than once a year? Maybe I should do that with how much wear it gets.
