I am considering an Ashby and was wondering if it will fit similar to the Powell quilted jacket. I have the Powell in XL and its a little snug, so no room for layers, but I like the silhouette of the Powell.
Seeing as the Ashby is not quilted do you think it will be a little more generous than the Powell?

Which model is that? Did you have the belt added on? I’ve never seen one with a belt before.

It’s one my 1974 international jackets. They always come with the belt and this one is original.

I just got a brand new sage Ashby in XL, it's a little tighter than I would like, worn it once. Can't return it as I had it shipped from a relative in the UK. If anyone is interested in it, I would sell for $265 including shipping in the US.

I'm going to re-wax my Beaufort to even it up a bit. I usually just use on old t-shirt, but am wondering if there is an application sponge or something else that is better?

Barbour sages: 2 Ashby questions: If I go TTS (M) is there enough room to fit a zip in gilet and still wear a light sweater or flannel shirt? And, which zip-in is compatible? Country Attire is a bit opaque on that point, i.e., b/c the gilets are sized (36,38 etc) -- so would a 38 or 40 fit an M Ashby? Thanks in advance.

I use a 38" zip-in liner with my medium Ashby, which was what Barbour recommended.
