Im stuck between a 42 or 40 classic bedale jacket. At a local store was only able to try on the limited edition icon lightweight durham in large and the classic ashby in large which both fit me ( they only had the small or xxl icon bedales and not the classic bedales). So I want to mimic the fit of the large I tried, but not sure if the 40 or 42 classic bedale is the right size. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have several Barbour jackets in various styles,the fit is different in all of them so buying online can be a challenge.
I have just bought a Sapper,I think that I will get a bottom drawcord fitted but does anyone know if it is possible to have slant pockets put in on the sides ?
I think that my 'ultimate' Barbour jacket would be a modified Sapper in British DPM camouflage.

Hello to all
I am undecided on the Sapper and Ashby model, my measurements are:
chest circumference 97cm (38,189 inch)
shoulder circumference 110cm (43,3071inch)
shoulder width 46cm (18,1102inch)
sleeve length 57cm (22,4409inch)

Which size to buy from Sapper?
What size does Ashby buy? (I would also buy the liner)

I would also like to wear it with Blazer ... is the Ashby more manageable to remove the liner when I use the blazer?

My body is thin and I don't like clothing regular, but slim

Size M but I’m not sure you’ll get a blazer underneath. For that, you’d be better of looking at a more traditional cut like the Bedale or Beaufort.

Medium won’t get a blazer underneath no way.

Barbours over tailoring is so bad. Get a wool coat for that.
