What are barbour shirts length like? Wanted some to wear casually untucked. Do they do a shorter style shirt?

Only ones I’ve tried are to long to be left untucked, wear size large tailored fit

Mine are quite long, they can be tucked or untucked. I’d say they come mid pocket

Pre 74 I believe. I’m yet to date it and inspect it properly as im working all day. It’ll be a day of Barbour today as my new Lutz is arriving too.

New to this thread , I generally post on Trickers / Boots boots ... thread .

I have three wax coats two Beaufort and an Original International , however I recently acquired this briefcase via a friend . The lining is spotless but the leather was scuffed , particularly around the edges . An hour of cleaning and massaging saddle soap sorted it . I’m very pleased with how it turned out and at a cost of £85 including the soap... a bargain.

I’d been looking myself on eBay for a while . Nearly pulled the trigger a couple of times but a friend had this one and wanted to sell it so .. happy days .

I’ve been on the bay since 2001 , another will come at the right price , eventually .

Dry its good wet it’s not.

Oban wax is attractive in aesthetics but I felt the water come through the front.

That’s a real shame!!! I’m a little off the new styles of Barbour’s, had a couple and they didn’t live up to my expectation

I think Barbour need to stop swanning about with new styles and being a fashion brand. Be more like Filson and stick to the originals.

I chose this jacket over all else thinking it would be great, but I’m starting to regret that decision. I should’ve just chosen a Bedale.

Agreed, they have become such a fashion brand now, most of it is made over seas (surprising the number of people that don’t realise that) the jackets look great don’t get me wrong. But aren’t practical to what I think Barbour’s should be!

The couple of new/seasonal styles I’ve had were such a disappointment. I managed to pick up a Ashby made in the uk, but those sleeve lining jsut put me rihht off!
