I’ve tried them on and honestly the Ashby looks the best on me.
In all seriousness what is the hate for you Barbour purists?

They’re great jackets, I have one (granted it’s a Pantone) but those horrible polyester sleeve linings are just the worst!!

Mostly just joking around. The Ashby was a great idea, poorly executed. A longer, slimmer Bedale would be awesome. The Ashby’s sweaty sleeves are horrible and the buttons look silly, to me. If you can get past that, it’s a good deal and has a nice profile.

Isn’t a longer, slimmer bedale just the Japanese/SL bedale?

the Ashby just looks very cheap to me. Any time I see someone wearing an Ashby I think they don’t really know what they’re doing/buying.

The Ashby looks great. Being trim does not allow much layering, but that is your choice. The Ashby’s sleeve lining were a big problem for me. They are not cotton and caused much moisture build up. That is all.

I actually prefer the buttons on the Ashby compared to the Bedale. Provides a bit of contrast.

Stoked on my new Barbour International Duke jacket, just have to wait for fall to wear it.

I bought a medium, feels like a perfect fit. Idk how it'll be if I try and wear a thick sweater underneath, but idk how often ill do that anyways.

medium looks perfect on you. Great job.
