I picked up a green C38 Beaufort on eBay which will be replacing my brown one in the same size. Send me a PM if you're interested in the brown one; open to trades for other Barbour stuff.

Can anyone tell me is this discoloration is a cause for concern. From the top half being lighter than the bottom half. This is a Barbour Beaufort A150.

I've seen this on the used market which am looking to bid for. The seller says its due to having the zipped game pocket at the bottom. The front looks normal.

Or does it just needs a re-wax ?

It’s kind of true. I have similar on mine but a rewax is needed for sure.

Has anybody tried the new To Ki To pieces and could comment on the sizing? I'm looking at the Shoreman jacket, in particular.

I’ve seen these, but I’m trying to get a sense of the fit.
Makes sense.

BTW, it ends up being 692euros shipped (about $762) from Cultizm.com if you use their current MAF25 promotion. That takes it below the $800 customs threshold.

Are you using your Barbour jackets in winter? I mean in temperatures below zero Celsius? What liners do you recommend or other middle layers for such conditions?

I use them all year round and adjust the amount of layers underneath based on temperature. I find this way better than getting a thick winter coat as I become way too hot in most conditions.

The Barbour quilted liners are a waste of money aimed at a certain clientele - in my humble opinion of course.

Most definitely use it in winter. I use a quilted zip-in liner and it becomes part of the jacket. No thinking necessary. I layer as necessary afterwards depending on the temperature with a fleece or sweater.

My favorite Barbour is a size too big these days. I found the discontinued Flyweight Sapper in sage/olive back in 2011-12. I liked the military/field jacket inspired Barbours jackets but didn't want the quilted version. They made a 4 oz, uninsulated waxed version for a short time. Mine's been rewaxed a couple of times now but hasn't seen much wear in a few years.

Does Barbour offer something similar currently? I think I was searching for the Cowen Commando back then and ended up finding the lightweight Sapper in its place.

I definitely do. It's my go to. It rarely gets below 0C during the days, where I live so I mostly layer appropriately.
