Ashby gets a lot of hate, but yours looks good and I quite enjoy mine as well
thanks for the compliment ..
Hate for the Barbour Ashbys ?! at this point ? and why ?
Anyway, as long as I like it, I really don't care what people think ?

Anyone know the difference between the Ender and the Brobel? They're both Harrington styled waxed jackets. I found that the Ender is 6oz waxed, but I can't find anything on the Brobel other than it's waxed. I'm looking for a Spring/Summer waxed jacket since neither my Border or Runal fit the bill.

Rewaxed a friends Ashby today. I’m trying to get him to sell it and buy a proper Barbour...

I have a J.Crew Editions X Barbour Barn Jacket in olive (lightly used) and am now looking for the Brobel. Anyone know where I can find one?

what's a "proper" Barbour, in your view?

It’s just a joke, but at least a Bedale

Not a fuckin slim fit Sylkoil whatever that is.

If it doesn’t fit like a tent and smell like a wet retriever you need to get your T checked, bro.

nah man, anything is to be honest. Vintage ones are great, but I prefer modern. I like tailored cuts and modern lines.

I was joking as well. But is the Ashby really that much better a fit for people than a sized-down Bedale? Genuinely curious as I have never tried one. I’m curious what people perceive to be the benefits and why they outweigh getting one of the made in UK models? I’ve always felt like my Bedale was plenty slim.

the Ashby is cut like a blazer in a way. Very close to the body and flared with dual exhausts.

it’s a great looking coat, just runs pretty hot due to the polyester sleeves. Those brass buttons look like **** in my opinion though.
