does anyone know the sizing info on the corbridge jacket? or how it compares to an ashby?

on endclothing it states the small has a p2p of 18.5 inches (and the model wears a small) which sounds way too small for a typical barbour jacket. i rarely layer and wear xs in ashby and small in the commander/beacon heritage jacket. thanks in advance.

First time? I find an ironing board useful when doing it, make sure it's not the wife's good one. It looks to me as if you didn't have the wax hot enough. It needs to be fully clear in the tin before using it, and change the hot water whenever the wax starts to go solid again.

Purple label I'm impressed with your collection. Can you tell us what they are in the first photo of jackets please? I think it's a Northumbria at the top and perhaps a Border or Gamefair to the right.

Northumbria is correct! Then there’s a Classic Beaufort, Beauhurst, Bedale, Transporter, Gamefair, Ashtone, Rambler, Eskdale, a7 Bright Brass, ‘74 International, Wool bomber and then a Galloway.

Thanks, I've just bought an International with the gold label and two Royal warrants. So I can date it to between 74 and 82. How do you date yours to '74 exactly? I think mine has black watch(?) tartan lining.

It was made bespoke for the 1974 International Six Day Trials.
    Show us yours!

Thanks, missed out on a few of the newer ones before Christmas, some at higher prices. Patience usually pays off on ebay.

I believe you have said that you wear your Classic Beaufort the most. What do you wear the second most? the Eskdale? I feel like I see you wearing that a lot in recent pictures..

Depends on the weather, but the Eskdale is a very nice light weight jacket.
The Ashtone & Bedale are too small for me now, just like the Gamefair, so into the vault they go.

Of course! Looking to downsize the mass produced and start picking up vintage rarer pieces.
