My wife is very sensitive to strong smells - especially chemical and solvent smells.

I often use Allen-Edmonds Premium Shoe Polish (the cream in the metal squeeze-tube) which doesn't tend to bother her, but when I use Allen-Edmonds Carnuba Wax Polish, the smell makes her feel sick.

The moral of the story is that I'm only allowed to use wax polish when she's out of town, which is not frequent enough for my shoes' needs.

Anyone know of a high-quality wax polish that doesn't smell so darn much?

This topic reminds me of when my wife was pregnant with our daugther. She was extremely sensitive to strong smells and my nightly ritual of polishing my shoes while having a glass of scotch would make her crazy. I would have to sit on the other side of the room just so it didnt make her nauscious. She now equates both of those smells with me, which I find kind of quant.

I still think the essense of scotch and shoe polish would make a great cologne.

I won't claim that it's odorless, but Lincoln wax polish isn't offensively noxious like Kiwi is. It mostly just smells like wax. I've recently coverted to it, and it works very well.
