I'm an odd jacket newbie and have just begun my odd jacket journey.

This is what I have,
A navy club blazer (brass buttons of course)
A brown herringbone tweed jacket
A light blue and white striped seersucker jacket

All three by RL.

How many do you own and what kind of odd jackets?

I only own three odd jackets at the moment, but am of the opinion that one can never have too many.

I have a navy herringbone no-name tweed, a brown Hart Shaffner Marx tweed, and a Southwick glenplaid. I also have a couduroy jacket from J-Crew, but it is far too informal to count as a proper "odd jacket".

I own a whole bunch and I am always looking to expand my collection:

Isaia:
Slate tweed with orange, brown, and blue windowpane.
Grey nailhead with orange windowpane.
Dark brown with variegated grey stripes.

Corneliani:
Brown tweed with windowpane.
Navy blue blazer.
Navy blazer made from wool/silk rough basketweave fabric.

Zegna:
Olive green/brown cotton sportcoat, patch pockets.
Black blazer, 15 micron hopsack weave.
Medium brown/cream houndstooth.

Canali:
Beige/brown/light blue donegal tweed.
Black/purple/grey/orange donegal tweed.
Light brown/beige with blue windowpane.

Burberry greenish tan plaid with orangey windowpane.
JA Banks cashmere navy blue blazer.
Pal Zileri tan herringbone with burnt orange windowpane.
Roberto Zanieri brown herringbone with blue windowpane.
Kilgour khaki donegal tweed, single button, peak lapels, hacking pockets.
Tan linen sportcoat, can't remember the maker.
Blue linen sportcoat, same unremarkable maker.
Dark brown hemp with light windowpane, Polo.

Wow, that's a lot of jackets now that I list them all out like that. And I wear almost all of them pretty regularly, except the Canalis, as they're unvented.

I own almost 20 jackets and I'm of the same opinion.

I guess it's a lot of jackets, but I wear odd jackets all the time, and rarely wear suits. Most of them could use a bit of tailoring, but I like them all.

I doubt I can hold a candle to many folks on here, though. I bet my collection is small in comparison to many.

Two:

A greenish/brownish tweed (beautiful in the fall);

A light gray/sky blue silk and tweed (perfect for spring).

I'm looking to add a Donegal tweed if anyone has recommendations.
