Ignoring the fact that the tie looks like it was knotted by my 7 year old and seems to be pretty cheap, that tie looks horrendous with that shirt. The pocket square makes no sense in the scheme of that outfit.

Which is perhaps why I love it even more. Sometimes a pocket square needs to live beyond the rationality of the outfit.

The pocket square goes with the outfit quite well. The summer preppy (or is it trad? I'm hardly an expert) tie seems a bit weird to me in the context of that outfit but age always helps with eccentricity. Makes me sorry that the suit doesn't cut it, pun intended.
