I love how everybody's swooning over this picture because of the woman herself, when her outfit is literally one of the worst I have ever seen on someone who is "dressed up." Trashy lesbian-Appreciation pseudo-businesswear at its best -- I would have guessed Dsquared not Tom Ford.

for the record, i dont think someone who thinks Michelle Obama is unattractive is necessarily racist. Nor am I about to sit here and tell people what they should and should not be attracted to. But there IS undoubtedly a large section of people who harshly criticize her looks without any valid basis (see: the occasional Michelle Obama as a monkey cartoon drawings you'll find online).

imo, she is an average looking woman, who is well-put together, and occasionally even pretty.
you don't think she's cute? fine. no skin off my nose.

but to call her a "beast" is ridiculous and somewhat questionable.

It would have been nicer if it was more creamy and less white, with slightly harsher quality fabric, and maybe just the shirt in a smooth silk. But I really like that sort of tight tailoring on a gurl. I still think she looks real nice. I think the lapels really give away that it's Tom Ford, but I guess if you replaced those I wouldn't have guessed.

I'm not especially PC, but using a word such as "beast" to describe a dark-skinned person leans dangerously close to mimicking the nomenclature used by racists of the past, which is generally something one would like to avoid, no?

Unlike some people in this thread, however, I have no problem with people thinking she looks ugly. I don't find her very pretty myself.
