1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I wouldn't have noticed a year ago, before I started reading SF. It's wrecked me.

You may be a bit mental sometimes Rev, but you are spot on with this one.

For those of us with high insteps derbies are the only option anyway!

He has got to be the most stylish president since JFK. Let him wear derbies!

    Thank you.
To not wear bluchers with a suit just because of open lacing (or due to "timeless rules") might be the paragon of SF OCD.
Anyone with any real world perspective knows that no sane person will ever notice this, or give a damn.

Prefer balmorals, but as long as they're not loafers, it's perfectly acceptable.

    Things I don't like about Obama's style:

    Dad jeans
    Stupid ball caps
    Flag pins
    His suits could fit better
He could use some more variety in his suiting

    His shoes are fine.

Too true. I never thought Obama was particularly stylish. He dresses better than a lot of presidents of the modern day but that isn't saying much.

His wife is a high powered lawyer with more things to care about than her husband's clothes- a Stepford wife she ain't.

And that photo was almost certainly a deliberate attempt to reference this:

Though from other White House photos, it readily becomes apparent that our President has a habit of putting his feet on the furniture, just like his mother told him not to do.
