I´m looking to get 3-5 suits and 5-7 shirts made in New York. My budget is 2k for the suits and 200 for the shirts. I have an athletic x frame and am looking for close fitting italian style clothing. The biggest problem is I can only spend 30 days in the U.S. for tax reasons. So I need to find places that have quick turnarounds. I know mysuit makes the suits in 2 weeks but I´m concerned about that bad reviews. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

They would be prety cheap and nasty garments with that budget for them all unless that budget is for each one.

Where do you spend the rest of your time - there may be better options.

You need a shop that does the work in-house so that the shop has control over the production, timing, delivery, etc.

Some possibilities:

1. Mr. Ned.

2. Gilberto.

3. Cego.

Any place that uses Coppley can offer a very quick turnaround. Try LS for Coppley suits.

Of course it´s for each one. The rest of my time will be in mexico and brazil where there aren´t good tailors as far as I know.

my patternmaker/cutter is from Mexico city.
he still has family there making clothing.
he will get me phone numbers later.

if mexico city is good.

the dollar in Brazil is awful. so what would have been a good deal 10 years ago, is no longer a good deal!!!

let me know if you need phone numbers and names in mexico city

Surely with such a minmal budget you would be better served with RTW?

Are you looking for 3-5 suits for a TOTAL cost of $2,000 or $2,000 per suit? I have the same question for shirts.

If you are looking for a total cost of $2,000, then your choices will be limited.

I think that your best bet would be LS Mens Clothes. They sell Coppley suits for about $600 per suit at the entry level.

Good luck.
