May be a to broad of a question......but what are some ideal stores/websites to recommend to an out of NYC buyer??....

I've purchased a shirt from Lord Willy's and a tie from Duncan Quinn....pretty much leap of faith that have worked out......I need to get my hands on more items like those......limited production....pretty good quality and great design...

I especially like the high collar of the Lord Willy's shirt, but can't seem to find another vendor who sells a simliar product....

Stores with a decent on-line presence seem to work the best....but maybe not....

Any help would be most appreciated.......Thanks!

Not that I am pushing myself...(Ok maybe I am)...But there is a whole list of stores directly above your post that most members here have something really nice to say about. Additionally if you stick around you have stores like, Kent Wang's, GetSmart, (Thick as Thieves), charles alexander (charlesalexanderNY.com) and a host of others that offer their goods here.

Just wondering, why do the stores have to be located in NYC if you live elsewhere and are ordering online anyway? There are plenty of good online retailers who are located elsewhere, as FIH mentions below.

My advice is that if you are happy with a certain vendor, manufacturer or store, stay with them for a while.
