Have to be in NYC for work in early April.

Which hotel is better the Hudson or Morgans and why?

Just stayed at the Hudson on Saturday.

Agree with Kunk, rooms are extremely tiny, do NOT opt for the junior/single room.

Overall nice hotel, cool vibe. Good price point. Centrally located.

I booked a king room at the Hudson, but heard the Morgans is nicer.

I need to be at Javitz and in midtown a lot.

As mentioned the Hudson rooms are tiny, but the restaurant has one of the better Mac and Cheese dishes I have had. The bar/club in the lobby is awful though.

Don't go by the size of the bed to pick the room as the size of the room is pretty much the same no matter what bed is in it. The King bed might make moving around in your little shoebox that much more difficult.

I am trying the Royalton on 44th between 5th and 6th next trip to NY. It's a Morgans Hotel.

I'd go for The Hudson.

I booked a deluxe room with a king bed at the Hudson, hopefully it won't suck.

Can't be worse than the Parker, I used to like that place, but they haven't changed the rooms in years. If this economy didn't stink so bad, I'd be at the London, which is my new fave hotel in NYC.

Maybe the Hudson is a bit special to me as it's the 1st place stayed when I moved to NYC.
