NYC hotels where visiting baseball teams stay?

    Once upon a time most mlb teams stayed at the Roosevelt and Biltmore (now gone) hotels. The A's stayed at the Americana (also gone) and the Phillies stayed at the Commodore (now the Hyatt). I was one of those raggedy kids chasing ballplayers around the lobby for their autographs in the 1960's. Mickey Mantle stayed at the St. Moritz on Central Park South. I went there to get his autograph too. But that's another story all unto itself....
