For sale I have a NWT RLBL Chesterfield overcoat in a staple solid charcoal grey. This is styled as "Classic Melton" due to the substantial nature of the fabric, although it should not be compared to the rougher texture of true Melton wool. Instead this coat is made from an 85% wool/15% cashmere blend, and as such has a touch of softness to it. There's a brief history of the Chesterfield here: http://www.gentlemansgazette.com/chesterfield-overcoat/. This example conforms closely to the origins of the garment, in that it is single breasted, features a single rear vent, and has a short notch lapel with three concealed buttons (also known as a fly front). Really an up-to-date example of a menswear classic that will surely never go out of style. It is tagged as a 42R, however it is slim fitting for a true 42 and hence I included 40R in the thread title. I'm a slim 40R in most RTW brands and this almost fits me. Includes pouch with spare buttons and thread, should any button need replacing at some point. When packed for shipping this coat will likely weigh over 2kg, which exceeds the limit for Royal Mail international services. Parcelforce is probably the best option given this fact, although I am open to negotiation on shipping carrier. The total cost of shipping will exceed $100, but this is included in the price.
