I was able to source some beautiful Corneliani double-breasted suits at a very low price so took some pics and measurements and am offering them here for sale for this week only. This is a limited time sale so there will be no price drops, eBay listings... If they are not sold by thursday, they are going back.

All the suits are NWT in flawless condition. They are all 6x2 in modern cuts with double vents and single pleated trousers. The fabrics are all top notch and in classic patterns. For those of you who are afraid to wear a DB suit, here is your chance. I hadn't worn a DB since at least 1994 before buying two of these Cornelianis and they are fast becoming my favorite suits.

These suits retail for $1,600+ and I am selling them for only $250 with shipping in North America (overseas add $20-$25). I'll sell two for $450 if someone wants both 38R (or the 40R for someone else).

1. A stunning grey flannel with a very subtle light purple/lavender windowpane (can't really make out the windowpane color from more than 2 feet away) in 38R. It's made with Super 130s mid to heavyweight flannel and the cloth is awesome. Great for fall/winter and in a very versatile color and pattern. This one is from the Corneliani Linea Sartoria line and judging by the S130s fabric probably retailed for more than the others. The trousers have besom front pockets. SOLD!

2. Beautiful Dark Navy Flannel with a lighter steel blue rope stripe in 40R. Also, a mid to heavyweight fabric for fall/winter wear and just a classic look. This one has beautiful horn buttons and trousers with a split waistband and off-seam pockets. The true color is darker than it appears in the pics. It's closer to the third pic, which happens to be out of focus.

Shoulders: 18.25"

Chest: 42.5-43"

Waist (at lower button): 41.5"

Length (from bottom of collar): 30.5"

Pants waist: 33.75" (factory hemmed at 34.5 [at least] with 1.75" cuffs)

3. Dark Navy with a very subtle grey/white (hard to tell) plaid pattern in Super 120s wool in 38R. This is more of a four-season suit. The pattern is very faint and not as bold as the pics make it out to be and also the flash makes it appear less dark than it is. SOLD!

I'm not sure I understand. Is the Navy Pinstripe the 40 R?

as i have never owned a double breasted before, i have a few tailoring questions. can the waists be taken in on the 38R? does this generally turn out ok, or is the easier done on a single breasted coat? thanks.
