I found a really cool looking Loro Piana black 3 button suit the other day, to the point where I actually bought it just to take it home and check it out. Fabric is a solid black 110's Loro Piana wool, very soft and looks great.
I'm not sure about the specific manufacturer (which is why I took it home), but the suit has a "Hand Made in the U.S.A." tag. However, it's definitely not your typical generic clearance rack suit with a nice fabric tag. The jacket is fully canvassed, the sleeves are unfinished (you'd need to get sleeve buttons from your tailor though), button-holes appear hand-sewn, and the styling is classic Italian, with double vents.
It's a great looking suit, and I'll have the measurements and pics posted tonight or tomorrow morning. Asking $300 + shipping; let me know if interesting because I'll probably be returning it in the next week or so.
