Here I present a 5 -> 4 suit Ralph Lauren Purple Label megathread for your consideration.

This is the second occasion that I have a decent size run of RLPL, indeed worthy of the title "megathread". For sale I have five four amazing, identical, NWT RLPL suits in sizes 36R/38R/42R/42L/44L. While the suits in my previous megathread were of superb quality - see http://www.styleforum.net/t/430364/...-42l-44l-charcoal-w-faint-dot-stripe-100-wool - I believe these are even better, being made by St. Andrews, which represents an improvement in quality over the Caruso made suits. To be specific, there is more handwork on these pieces, such as the handsewn after dinner split and hand attached waistband of the pants. Also I have a slight preference for this fabric when compared to the previous listing.

These are single breasted notch lapel suits from the RLPL "Savile Row" line. The suit pants are known as "Madison" in RLPL terms, meaning they are a standard, not super slim, fit - see measurements below - and are flat fronted with side tab adjusters.

Made in Italy by St. Andrews - in a 3 season weight (Fall/Winter/Spring appropriate IMO) 100% wool twill. All five suits have a navy base and are therefore very business appropriate. The dot stripe is spaced a shade over 0.75" apart.

All the styling details we've come to expect from RLPL - precise yet subtle pick stitching on the lapel edges, pocket edges and zip front. The pants have slanted front pockets and two back pockets with button closure. Suspender buttons are sewn into the split curtain waistband, where you may also notice the after dinner split at the back seam. Lovely hand sewn buttonholes at the front of the coat and the lapel.

Included with all suits is the RLPL pouch containing sleeve & spare buttons and matching thread. Basting thread is fully intact at the vents, sleeves and shoulders of all five suits, exactly as they would be found in an RL boutique. The attached photos above are of the 38R suit (see spoilered photos below for the other sizes).

Price is $1600 -> $1500 per suit shipped CONUS or the EU
