Here I present a 4 -> 3 -> 2 -> 1 suit Ralph Lauren Purple Label megathread for your consideration.

This is the first occasion that I have a decent size run of RLPL, worthy of the title "megathread". For sale I have four amazing, identical, NWT Ralph Lauren Purple Label suits in sizes 36R/38R/42L/44L. IMO they are the most staple RLPL suits I have listed on the forum since I had a couple of solid greys 4 years ago. These are single breasted notch lapel suits from the RLPL "Custom Fit" line, using the "Drake" cut for the coat. The suit pants are known as "Harrison" in RLPL terms, meaning they are slightly more tapered - see measurements below - and are flat fronted with side tab adjusters. The "Custom Fit" line is slimmer than the "Savile Row" RLPL of the equivalent size - perhaps comparable to RLBL "Anthony" - therefore sizing down might be appropriate. I wear a 38R "Savile Row" and a 40R "Custom Fit" (if the 38R in this listing was wider through the shoulder it would not be for sale!).

Made in Italy by Caruso - to the same standards as Sartorio Parma - in a 3 season weight (Fall/Winter/Spring appropriate IMO) 100% worsted wool. All four suits have a charcoal base and are therefore very business appropriate. The dot stripe is rather faint and is spaced 7/16" apart.

All the styling details we've come to expect from RLPL - precise yet subtle pick stitching on the lapel edges, pocket edges and zip front. Pants are flat front with side tab adjusters and have slanted front pockets and two back pockets with button closure. Suspender buttons are sewn into the split curtain waistband, where you may also notice the after dinner split at the back seam. Lovely hand sewn buttonholes at the front of the coat and the lapel.

Included with all suits is the RLPL pouch containing sleeve & spare buttons and matching thread. Basting thread is fully intact at the vents, sleeves and shoulders of all four suits, exactly as they would be found in an RL boutique. The attached photos above are of the 38R suit (see spoilered photos below for the other sizes).

Full retail on these suits is £2,605, or approx. $4,350
