1. NWT Corneliani mainline sportcoat 40R US

This jacket is the "Easy" model, which features completely unpadded shoulders and canvas construction. MSRP on this jacket is about $1600, or $1715 if you factor in sales tax.

Recent model (2011-ish)

Pattern on the fabric is SICK. Navy houndstooth with a faint windowpane. Four season weight

Pretty much hits every damn note on the iGent scale.

Specs:

-Made in Italy by Corneliani
-65% virgin wool / 35% silk (matte finish; no sheen)
-Canvas construction
-Soft shoulders with no padding ("spalla camicia")
-High armholes
-Double vents
-Patch pockets
-Full lined with rayon bemberg
-Slim fit with a trim waist
-Will generally need little or no alteration (aside from the sleeves)

Approximate measurements:

Shoulders: 18.25
Chest: 21.25
Length from BOC: 30.5
Sleeve: 25.25

Awesome construction and fit on this jacket. Full canvas and soft shoulders!

The quality of the wool-cashmere-angora "barleycorn" fabric is great too. Three season weight. It has an amazingly soft hand. Can't stress that enough. You will not be disappointed.

The wool-cashmere tweed fabric looks charcoal gray from a distance, but it is actually is charcoal with flecks of navy, gray, and brown when you inspect it up close:
