these are both NWT (from discounter)
The first is Ralph Lauren Polo line in a lavender or lilac bengal stripe
I cannot confirm that it is manufactured by Lorenzini, but.. it is made in Italy, has a silkier fabric than any other Polo shirt I've felt, seems to have MOP buttons, has side gussets, split yoke, and on the back of the size tag has the letters "LOR"

** SOLD **
Next is a Massimo Bizzocchi - gray with multicolor stripe, tagged 15.75/40cm
MOP buttons, split yoke, side gussets
spread collar

Ducky, so Lorenzini makes non-RLPL shirts? Who makes the RLPL shirts, then?

I'm pretty sure that Lorenzini makes the RLPL shirts
the Polo line is a huge range of quality, even just looking at the dress shirts.
I had never seen and have not seen subsequently any Polo labelled shirts with this build. Others on the forum have reassured me that Lorenzini has made for the Polo line and the construction characteristics, along with "LOR" on the back of one of the tags (I've since seen some that say either "CO" or "COR" which I assume is corneliani), made me suspect Lorenzini in the first place

how would you describe the fit of these "regent classic fit" shirts?

From what I understand, the Italian Polo shirts predate Black Label. When RL introduced more high end lines, the quality and price of the Polo dress shirt were lowered substantially as production moved to HK and then China. My Italian Polo shirt (marked CIT??? on the back of the tag) is not up to par with current RLPL but is at least as well made as Black Label.

I started looking at the backs of all the tags and did see a number labelled CIT and I thought these were nicer, so got them to share with the forum.. might have been a mistake on my part, as I could very well take a loss
