These are pretty unique shoes -- an interesting take on the split toe -- and I'm selling them here for cheap just in case they'd make someone happy.

They are Bettanini & Venturi, for Barney's. The retail tag says $1045. Barney's has these tagged as a size 10, even though the bottom of the shoe says 9 on it. I tried on the shoes to see how they fit, and I think they fit like a pretty standard 10. It definitely is not a size 9. The insole measures 11 1/4."

The color is a burgundy antique. My camera flash sort of brightens the color a little bit. It is definitely more of a deeper burgundy antique. Norweigen welted with a nice double sole. It's a substantial shoe, no doubt. I actually think it would look pretty freaking cool with denim or cords. The leather is really nice, and the nail pattern on the bottom is amazing. I'd say these are better made than the Mantellassi handmade line.

$200 shipped (less than 20% of retail). If they don't work out for you and you want to flip them on Ebay, be my guest.

PM me if interested.

Not sure what is meant by decadent. They're definitely first class in terms of construction and materials. It will be a sturdy shoe, though. They're pretty awesome, IMO.

I have a pair of Tramezzas that have similar stitching but a different vamp. These look much better.

I regret not pickling up a few of these at the Barney's sale.

While B&Vs look ridiculous on the rack, they look great on the foot with the right pair of pants. Also have a nice heft to them.

Good luck to whoever grabs them.

SOLD (these sold about five minutes after I posted them, but I had to get offline -- sorry for the delay).
