Here I am listing another pair of Galways, a truly iconic RTW model from Edward Green, having already sold these three previously on the forum:

2. http://www.styleforum.net/t/377830/...ut-country-calf-10-10-5d-82-last-dainite-sole
3. http://www.styleforum.net/t/438650/...f-tobacco-suede-12-5-13d-82-last-dainite-sole

For sale I have one pair of Edward Green Galway in the stunning combination of Dark Oak Antique Calf with a Mocca Suede upper section - a rare version of this boot indeed (Mink Suede is the most common shade when reverse calf is paired with Dark Oak). Crafted on the elegant 82 last and featuring a HAF leather sole which is oak bark tanned. Being Dark Oak Antique there is some EG burnishing at the toe and heel. Just an awesome boot for Fall/Winter. These will last for years if the uppers are treated properly.

These are new with an EG dark green box, including a polishing cloth but no shoe bags. They're tagged as rejects due to a minor flaw on the toe of the left boot. Please note that there are three or four errant spots left behind by the burnishing process (see last image). Other than this very minor issue, the attached photos should prove that the uppers of this pair are absolutely pristine.

Sizing wise these are a 11.5UK/12US in the UK designated standard E width.

Please note these will have to be shipped via a courier as the package will exceed the Royal Mail 2kg limit. Therefore increased shipping costs are incorporated into the price.

Price is $1000 -> SOLD shipped CONUS or the EU

Styling Details
  • Derby boot
  • Goodyear welted
  • 360 degree welt
  • 8 eyelets; 4 blind eyelets and 4 speedhooks
  • Elegant round-toed 82 last
  • EG style burnishing at toe and heel
  • Leather pull tabs
  • HAF leather sole
  • Half bellows tongue
