1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

  2. In 2018. by way of thanks for being a part of this community, we'll be choosing 16 active members of our community at random to receive a special gift and a gift certificate for one of our affiliate vendors, to represent each of our 16 years.

This is an absolutely amazing piece
Some of the softest, thick, sturdy warm wool I have ever felt, softer than my flannel Isaia and Kiton suits but ten times thicker

100% wool (had to check to make sure it wasn't cashmere)

This has a similar amount of handiwork to an Isaia, including full floating canvass, beautiful hand-sewn buttonholes etc.
I have never seen a peacoat on the market with even basic canvassing, let alone this level of handiwork

Purchased from Gilt, there was no attached tag, but came in a plastic bag with an information tag attached

    Tagged 36R

    Chest (armpits to armpit): 20"
Shoulders (Seam to seam): 18.25" (My friend wears a 36r in Isaia and has no problem fitting the shoulders on this)
    Length (Bottom of Collar): 29.25"
