Crumble matzah on plate. Dip knife into room temperature Nutella, then roll around crumbled matzah. Enjoy nutellasicle.

Extra tasty if eaten late at night by the light of the refrigerator while family sleeps.

Pietro Ferrero, the heir to the empire of Ferrero Rocher chocolate products, who introduced to the market Nutella, Kinder, and Tic Tac, and one of Italy's richest men, died in a bicycle accident occurred in South Africa, according to "The Guardian" newspaper.

Redwoood - helpful thanks. I have years of experience experimenting with these techniques and can't say that I've found the perfect approach.

Also, I would never keep Nutella in the fridge !!!

Oh I've had those Manner things before - they're everywhere here. I like them but I can't control the amount of delicious hazelnut paste with that. I prefer to spread and overspread.

well, good to hear. they are really great.

Why can't you zap Nutella in the microwave for a few seconds?

First of all, it says so on the label and I have faith in Ferrerro.

Second, I did try and it turns into some disgusting crackling dry mud thingy. This right there should tell us it's not something we should be eating - but addicts know that their drug is not good for them...

What I'm telling you is the truth: three years ago, when I got back from Italy, I ate AT LEAST one jar of Nutella a day for over a year.

First, I was putting it on toasted bread with slices of banana. Then I skipped the toast and ate it with a spoon, out of the jar, with banana in hand. Lastly, I'd just eat it out of the jar like it was a container of lowfat yogurt.

It was all a true addiction. I went from buying it retail, to buying it in Costco, then to having a guy at a cheese shop buying large jars for me by the case.

I now haven't touched it in 4-5 months. I also now believe in a higher power and have made amends to those I have wronged, but I haven't touched the stuff and will get my 6-month pin soon.

Seriously, though, I was eating that much of that stuff. "Hydrogenated palm oil" . . .
