Just washed my first pair of Nudies after 3 months of daily wear. Washed with bronners inside out in hot water on gentle cycle thinking that if I was going to go ahead and wash I might as well go for some fade. However, I was pretty suprised based on their reputation to find that I really didn't get any. Before the wash I had good wallet fade, some honeycombing and whiskering but after washing the effect was just an unnoticeable amount of overall color lightening . Does this sound normal for Nudies?

No, it's really not normal.

Chances are you either didn't wear them enough. Did you see a bit of fade before you washed. Otherwise, they may just not be totally dry, when they're totally dry look at them again.

Did you read the instructions that came with the jeans... you know, the ones written in huge black letters on the inside of the front pocket and were printed on the tag and in the booklet that came with the jeans.

You gotta wait at least 6 months for anything to come out - and that assumes you've worn them all day, every day. 3 months isn't enough time.

There are literally hundreds of threads about nudie washing here, check it out:

Which cut are they? From what Ive heard Slim Jim Blacks are tough to fade for the first year or so.

How tight they are might also have something to do with it...
