Nudies indigo dye transfer

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me how much Nudie raw denim will stain clothes/sneakers? I copped a new pair of white Common Projects and I want to upgrade from my Uniqlo selvedge ones just because they tend to stain everything and anything a ton...but I'm not sure if Nudies will be any better with that. Please advise!

Washed Nudies will not bleed much. Raw denim nearly always bleed some. I think it's something you are either going to have to embrace. That, or you can eschew wearing denim.

I wouldn't wear the new Common Projects with your new nudies. Not till after your 1st wash.

Will the indigo bleeding reduce significantly after the first wash?

After your 1st wash, the dye transfer is significantly reduced for sure.

However, you will still see some, no matter how little, of bleeding onto your shoes from raw denim. I've washed my raw nudie thin finns about 8x across 4 years before it stopped bleeding altogether.
