Here's a comparison of the different washes/styles of the Nudie Regular Ralph.

Left to right, they are the: New Used Deluxe, Dry Graycast, and Dry Selvage.

The Used and Graycast are new and unworn in the pictures. The RRDS, by contrast, are about 9 months old, worn about 70 days or so in that time, and never washed.

Hope you find the color comparison useful.

Hmmm... Yep the RRDS is still the king of Nudie.

How's the fit of the RRDS? If I wear size 34 in PDC and Sevens, should I get 34?

The used deluxe used to be a distressed RRDS (i.e: selvage), is it still the case?
zj: nice collection, btw. I like it better than EG or lobb display

And then ship them to me? You know, for charity's sake?

Your RRDS are showing very nice contrast for what amounts to about 3 months of wear. Very nice.

I think what's out there now is called "New Used Deluxe," and I'm pretty sure they aren't selvage. It would be hard for them to be considering they actually retail for about $15-20 less than RRDS. I have a friend with a pair, I can check.

They retail for about the same as the RRDS, they are indeed called the "New Used Deluxe" and are not selvedge.

(I was the one who sold him the NUD and the RRDG

woah i didnt think there would be that much difference between the greycast and the selvage in terms of colour. I feel good now that i have paid that extra for the selvage

Well, don't forget, the RRDG are brand new, and the RRDS have been worn for a few months, so there will be a substantial difference in color due to that alone.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
