That's an understatement of massive proportions. I think the venue should lock the sorority girls in cages until they behave. If they will act no better than animals, they can be treated as such.

Maybe I'm too disconnected, but it doesn't seem fair to me that the venue had to go through this.

Well the venue knew it was a possibility, as they made the sorority leader sign the paperwork stating that she'd be held responsible. If they didn't want to deal with the potential of this kind of thing happening, then it would make sense to stop renting out your venue to people who are known for this type of behavior.

Hope she was over 18.

One of the best girls I know is a sorority girl in Ohio, but she's at Ohio Wesleyan. So not at this party

It's not a party until someone tries to rip the bartender's clothing off.

Meh. Friend of mine threw a house party that included: a Monster Energy Drinks monster truck that showed up to provide party go-ers with an unlimited supply of energy drinks, $1000 prize for the best stripper (alcohol + normally "classy" [read: rich and stuck up] sorority girls ftw!), 2 news vans, a Miami-Dade police helicopter, tear gas, and an eviction notice.

glad to say I helped play my part in The U being named Playboy's #1 Party School.

That's the real crime here! These kids should be banned from ever drinking again.

Why don't these places hire security for these events? Everyone knows they'll get messy.

Back in the early nineties there was a massive crackdown on the party scene in Manchester, the ultimate example of which was when I attended a November 5th firework do, attended by a maximum of fifty people at a private house.

The lack of numbers didn't stop a police helicopter attending along with five fire engines.

I think the officers from the various agencies were a tad embarrassed when they found us standing there with sparklers and warm wine...
