Jun Kuwana (King Croesus of the shoeworld) has used his instagram site to show a family portrait (or two) of all his shoes:

https://instagram.com/not_fashion_but_style/

Those are his ready-to-wear-shoe (apparently he missed a few pairs)

and those are his bespoke shoes (55 pairs and another 3 pairs in production)

Wear them in good health Jun-san!

Nice photos. I'm sure that there are quite people on SF who have just as many RTW shoes as Kuwana-san does, but I wouldn't think that many people would have as many bespoke shoes.

It would have been nice to have seen a picture of @aportnoy 's complete collection, all in one place, as I'm sure that it would have been very impressive.

That's pretty cool.

Though, and this is not to hate, if I was looking with a critical eye there isn't a lot of diversity there it doesn't seem. I don't have anywhere near as many pairs as these, but I think even with my 15 pair capsule collection I have a wider range of types and styles of footwear. I appreciate having a lot of subtle ranges to the different shades of brown, but this seems more like a show of volume than creative diversity.

Maybe I'm just getting sucked into that row of brown suedes that all look the same. Thoughts?

You need to pay more attention to details.

Granted, his shoes are more on the dressy side, but large variety nonetheless with many leathers.

As I said I'm not hating. There is clearly a lot of subtle variety, which I love, and from that perspective they look great.

My note was to say it seemed like was a lot of black, brown and burgundy. And so, excellent comment who cares? Well no one, except I think if I had that many pairs of shoes I would have more colour variety - red, green, blue, and some whites in a variety of leather, suede and canvas.

I mean, I'd still take every pair in that collection. Just saying.
