Hi everyone,

I will be taking a 4 day trip to the north of Italy next week. My main destination is Venice. I've been looking around on the web to see if there's a nice shopping spot in the vicinity, and it appears there's a McArthurGlen outlet in a place called Noventa di Piave (near Venice) Veneto Outlet

This outlet happens to have Pal Zileri, Brooks Brothers and even Brioni stores there. Could you guys give me a hint what to expect when it comes to prices in this Italian outlet, especially PZ and BB (I don't think I'm cash ready for Brioni).

Thanks!

No idea about that one but in general

Outlet malls aren't aimed at value shoppers or people who know what they're buying. They're aimed at people that want a plastic bag with the company logo.

You'll likely find diffusion items are higher prices then you'd expect.

Brioni's factory outlet IIRC used to be in Aquila but that was before the quake. The real factory outlets are the places with lower prices.

If you're going a bit further west Zegna lists an bolgheri company owned/run outlet in the Milano area.

Also the seasonal sales are just over now. On the plus side you should be seeing lots of stock. On the downside the prices will be higher.

Thanks for the reply. I have shopped in major outlets before, and I disagree they're not aimed at people who know what they're buying. I know exactly what I'm looking for, and I will be visiting this outlet mall to find the respective products. But I would highly appreciate any info about BB European prices, as well as Pal Zileri main line outlet prices in Italy.
