I mean, where can you get a Handgrade quality shoe on a traditional last (shorter with a rounded toe)?

Too much pointiness going on at C&J (337, 348, 358), Cheaney (Imperial collection), G&G, AS (Handgrade).

I'd like to buy Handgrade, but there's absolutely nothing available, and I don't fit EG's 202 last.

    Anyway, pointiness whine over.

David Mitchell is good on the subject:

I hear what you're saying -- it's very hard to find a store where you can find a good selection of well made rounder toed shoes. There is an overwhelming trend toward extended chiseled or pointed almond shaped lasts. That doesn't mean that round toed shoes aren't being made by anyone, but the options are dwindling and it is frustrating if you don't want to roll the dice by buying over the Internet. Off the top of my head, you could look at Vass, G&G's GG06 last, Lobb 8695, JM Weston's classic line (ie 300, 310), some Carmina lasts, etc.
