Florsheim Royal Imperial Shell Cordovan Long Wing New with original Box, Bags, and Florsheim wrapping paper. Florsheim Royal Imperial was Florsheim's top most line. Info from their catalog circa 1989 on this model: "The Kenmoor Royal Imperial, long wing tip, 5-eyelet blucher, welt construction, full leather lining, cushioned sock lining, double leather sole with leather storm welt and heel with metal v plate." http://news.google.com/newspapers?n...ShJAAAAIBAJ&sjid=jAYNAAAAIBAJ&pg=2884,3994172 The above link shows that this shoe sold for $250 in 1989 - which was a lot of money back then for a pair of shoes. I would say this was probably the best pair money could buy in the United States back then. But I was only 9 years old then and couldn't care less about cordovan long-wings, so someone can correct me if I'm wrong. This is obviously a rare find. I personally have not seen these being sold new with box before. Size is 8 3E. I can personally attest to the fact that the fit is the exact same as 8 E is Alden's Barrie last. NOTE: I have added a picture (last picture) comparing the size of the above pair to a pair of my Barrie Lasted Aldens in 8E. The fit feels the exact same when I put them on. Shipping is included in my asking price. I will ship them in the original box, with shoe bags and all. The shipment expense will be by weight. If the shoes sell for a price lower than my asking price, then shipping expense is on the buyer. Any other questions please ask. I will also put these up on Ebay. So if you are interested please don't wait. There is a chance that someone will snap these up on Ebay before you get to them.
